  • Adam also had the idea to take inspiration of the Nablus soap papers (photo of Kanaan soap below), which could be worked into a visually arresting image. Would need to work for readers who don’t know what they’re looking at yet, but be satisfying for readers who do. From Adam: “a bold blue circle with an image in orange in the middle on a white background. A great designer might be able to take that format and use images from the book instead. The obvious choices could be a blue gazelle in the middle and the title and your name as the text in the circle around it, or a more complicated version” could include images from the story.
